• Siemens was selected as the
sole supplier for both
phases of a 122 kiosk
substations
project financed
by ADB to upgrade power
distribution in 3 cities:
Hanoi, Hai Phong and Nam
Dinh
• This is the first tender for
this type of substation in
Vietnam. With this project,
Siemens is
now the No. 1
kiosk and RMU supplier in
the northern part of the
country
• This is one of the biggest power
transmission substations in the North,
connecting overhead
lines to supply
electricity for Ninh Binh, Thai Binh,
Nam Dinh and Hai Phong provinces.
Innovation
Kiosk substations are a compact and reliable replacement for the old and ugly pole-mounted substations in Vietnam’s urban areas.
Customer
benefit
The combination of RMU and compact housing, both made of stainless steel, is the optimum product for a tropical country like Vietnam.
Maximum protection against rust and corrosion guarantees the longest service time for equipment of this type.
