Siemens Executive Vice President - Member of Managing Board scheduled to visit Vietnam

Dr. Klaus Wucherer, Executive Vice President - member of the managing board of Siemens AG, is scheduled to visit Vietnam in the beginning of September 2006. Within Siemens Executive Management Board Dr. Wucherer is directly responsible for the groups Automation and Drives, Industrial Solutions and Transportation Systems. He is also the Chairman of Asia and Australia Operations responsible for the business development in this most dynamic business area of the world today.

With this visit Dr. Wucherer has the intent to strengthen the relation between Siemens and Vietnam’s government, authorities and customers. Therefore, his first priority is to visit top leader and officers of Vietnam’s Government to present Siemens’ current and future activities in Vietnam and exchange the view on all mutual cooperative aspects. During this visit Dr. Wucherer will pay special attention to reviewing the status of development of some important projects and Siemens’ overall development in Vietnam. It has been planned that during this visit Dr. Wucherer will officially open the first factory of Siemens in Vietnam which is located in the Singapore Vietnamese Industrial Park in Binh Duong province.
