Factory Automation Tour and Siemens Process Innovation successfully made its stop to Vietnam

In a tradition of the well-known concept of SIMATIC Innovation was introduced to highlight products and customer’s benefits to the market. The increase in productivity is the main focus this time. Therefore this customer-oriented event took place in Ho Chi Minh City from 18 – 19 July 2006 under the name of: SIEMENS Factory Automation Tour which has drawn the attendance of over 120 customers.

At a Process Innovation Tour which travels to countries like Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, Siemens showcases its latest successes in process automation, from process safety to fieldbus technology and integrated, plant-wide asset management, and drives and motion controllers.

With Siemens Totally Integrated Automation (TIA), the entire production workflow in a plant is highly automated, translating to better productivity, maximum interoperability, sustained competitiveness and improved manufacturing processes.

After its destination in Malaysia last June, Process Innovation Tour has traveled to Vietnam. The Automation & Drives Dept, Siemens Vietnam, together with HQ experts in the field of automation, have organized a customer event in Tuan Chau, on 14 – 15 July and respectively, in Phan Thiet, on 21 – 22 July.

Siemens have a chance to welcome about 100 customers for each event. The whole concept of the Roadshow is to guide customer into the world of automation from A&D with abundant products and industrial solutions. Our live demo equipment all made a great impression on our customers and they fruitfully compliment the presentation from our experts. Within the framework of the new Productivity Tour we demonstrate how SIMATIC S7 / PCS 7 is increasing the overall productivity of equipment over its lifecycle by means of selected use cases. All use cases provide live-scenarios and quantitative statements with regard to selected competitors.

A highlight of the Process Innovation Tour is the launch of the SIMATIC Safety Integrated which is shown “live” for the first time.
