Seminar on water and wastewater process

Siemens Vietnam and the Institute of Urban Building and Construction (Ministry of Construction) have recently collaborated to organize information seminars where system solutions for the water and wastewater process have been presented to the audience from the Vietnamese water industry. The two seminars organized in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City were very successful with more than 200 clients participated, showing a great interest in the Siemens proposition for the water process.

Since its establishment in Vietnam in 1979, Siemens has always been committed to be an integral part of Vietnam's economy. The Siemens Automation & Drives group is particularly active in the Vietnamese water industry. It offers a wide range of innovative products, systems and solutions answering most of the requirements of the water and wastewater related process.

Siemens Water Technologies, part of the Siemens Industrial Solutions & Services division, provides technical consultation and integrated solutions not only for the construction of plants, but for the entire life cycle of water facilities, including engineering, equipment supply, installation, commissioning and after-sales services.

Part of these available solutions have been successfully presented during the seminars, including motors and drives, industrial automation systems, and process instrumentation. SIWA-PLAN, the Siemens software suite for the water process has also created a lot of interests, together with the USFilter based process systems including screens, clarifiers, membrane technologies and more. Some particular emphasis have been put on value added solutions including energy saving, life cycle cost optimization and leakage monitoring.
