Imaging & IT
The Imaging & IT Division provides imaging systems for early diagnosis and intervention, as well as for more effective prevention. These systems are networked with high-performance healthcare IT to optimize processes (such as in hospital data systems like Soarian, image processing systems like syngo, and knowledge-based technologies for assisting diagnoses).

Workflow & Solutions
Workflow & Solutions provides complete solutions for fields such as cardiology and oncology (including conventional radiation systems and particle therapy) and neurology. The Division offers solutions, for example, for women’s health (mammography), urology, surgery and audiology. It also provides turnkey solutions (including national health IT systems, solutions for complete clinics), and consulting. In addition, Workflow & Solutions is responsible for the Sector’s service business, for supervising the sales regions, and for managing customer relations.

Diagnostics
The Diagnostics Division covers business with in-vitro diagnostics, including immune diagnostics and molecular analysis. The Division’s solutions range from point-of-care applications to the automation of large laboratories. Diagnostics combines the acquisitions of DPC, Bayer Diagnostics and Dade Behring.

Siemens Healthcare has quickly self-affirmed our leading position in supplying premium medical equipments and comprehensive medical solutions to hospitals and health care centers throughout Vietnam since its first presence in the country in 1991. We bring here a diversified spectrum of high-tech medical equipments, including imaging systems for diagnosis, therapy equipments for cancer treatment, laboratory diagnosis and hearing instruments. In addition, we provide a wide array of IT solutions that optimize workflow, increase efficiency and
reduce costs in hospitals and clinics. Thanks to the technology innovations, high quality products as well as competent and reliable technical support services, Siemens has been continuously successful with hundreds of imaging diagnosis systems installed in hospitals and medical centers across the country including over 20 MR systems, over 80 Computed Tomography units, over 400 ultrasound systems and hundreds of X- rays systems.

1996 Supplied of the first two Magnetic Resonance Imaging Systems in Friendship and
Cho Ray Hospital
2000 Installed the most advanced cancer treatment systems in Hanoi at K hospital and in
Ho Chi Minh City at Cho Ray Hospital.
2005 Provided 144 SONOLINE Adara Black and Whilte Ultrasound Systems to 122
hospitals and polyclinics throughout the country.
Selected to be the official
provider of 45 X-ray units by the Ministry of Health in the framework of the
National Health Support Project.
2006/2007 Provided the first 64-slice CT scanners in Vietnam at Bach Mai Hospital
(Hanoi), Danang General Hospital (Central) and
Vu Anh Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City)
7/2007 Provide the first molecular imaging systems in Vietnam at Bach Mai Hospital in
Hanoi and Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.
3/2008 Signed contract for the first PET/CT system and Cyclotron to be installed in
Vietnam at Cho Ray Hospital
