CELL LEADER / PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Reporting to: Product Manager
Working base: Binh Duong province
Transportation: Provided by company
Period of receiving CV: From 4-31 Jan 2008

Main Tasks of Role:
  • Responsible for the quality of products within the production area ensuring quality standards are achieved consistently, to ensure both internal and external customer satisfaction. Implement corrective action immediately when product falls below the standards.
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Co-ordinate department activities and special projects. Supervise and support staff in accordance with Siemens policies and procedures.
  • To produce product in time and to customer requirements.
  • To ensure that operators maintain self-inspection principles.
  • To ensure that all materials/products in production areas are adequately identified and relevant materials are collected and recycled whenever possible.
  • To identify and evaluate problems experienced in production areas and provide effective solutions to prevent recurrence, in conjunction with the quality department
  • To ensure that the working section is safe and the absence of risks to individuals is minimal in connection with the use and handling of machines and components.
  • To ensure that the production areas be kept clean and tidy all the time and to ensure that the team leaders and operators are aware of the standards that must be maintained (where applicable).
  • To communicate at all levels with all departments, It is essential to encourage teamwork to make sure products been produced smoothly.
  • Use relevant safety equipment, follow safety procedures and use training given to prevent accidents
Knowledge, experience and skills required:
  • Knowledge:
    - Mechanical/Electrical Degree
    - Production processes
    - Cycle time controlling
    - OEE
    - Overall equipment effectiveness
    - Good in English (written – oral)
     
  • Experience:
    - At least 3 years experience within production
    - For >1 year leader of few people (2-8).
    - 1-2 years experience of busbar/switchboard is preferable
     
  • Skills:
    - Communication skills
    - Decision making
    - Change Orientation
    - Coaching and mentoring
