  Commercial Project Officer – Energy - BA PM

  Mission of Function:
 
 
  Assist Head of BA/CPM in dealing with commercial sales, order calculation, project implementation, project planning and controlling, risk management, claim management, reporting, account receivables, logistic tasks
 
 
  Education:
 
 
 
 Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent
 
  Areas of Responsibility/Tasks:  
     
 
• Commercial Sales
o Preparation of offer and contracts (terms & conditions, quotations, offer calculation…)
o Contract negotiation preparation
• Order calculation:
o Calculate project costs, margins and customer price, adjust the price calculation.
o Preparation and proof of offers and contracts regarding commercial
tasks.
• Project planning and controlling:
o Allocate appropriate resources to project teams
o Prepare project information and make sure that concerned parties have the overview of the project, aware
of individual obligations in the project
o Calculation of project pricing (cost and revenue booking)
o Controlling and steering the project in respect to project costs, project efforts and project timeline
o Regularly compare and analyze actual cost to budget calculation, take corrective actions, controlling on
EVA, EBIT, project forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Project Implementation:
o Support Procurement Manager in evaluate the suppliers and contract negotiations with commercial
knowledge
o Schedule and perform commercial tasks for project such as purchasing activities, bank guarantees, billing,
manpower timesheet control, meetings with customers, regular project meetings…
• Risk Management:
o Analyze possible risks of the project
• Claim Management:
o Check and make approval of claims and invoices
• Reporting and analyzing:
o reporting of key financial figures monthly, quarterly; risk reporting, purchasing reporting.
• Account receivables and account payables:
o follow up payment schedule of customer/ supplier; prepare financial reports periodically.
o Report timely to Head of CPM/BA and also to corresponding Division Head (DH) about Project related
matters, which may impact the Project EBIT and customer relation;
o Involvement in offer preparation, planning and controlling offer costs.
o Preparation/Check of commercial terms and conditions base on relevant laws, standard terms & conditions
set by the company, prepare and negotiate tenders/offers/contract with customers to secure the Company’s
legal position.
o Prepare offers and implement Projects according to PM@Siemens
o Follow Project Management Guideline (SLV Circular 14/03 issued on 8 October 03).
o Set up and maintain appropriate claim and change order request management (internal and external).
o Define project structure and priorities in close cooperation with DHs and Sales force.
o Project risk management with early escalation of arising risks
o Cooperation and support in teaching of CAPAP trainees
