In September 2001, Hoang Mai Cement Company,
belonging to Vietnam National Cement
Corporation, rolled out this plant with an
annual capacity of 1.4 million tons.

The Industrial Solution & Services (I&S) Group
of Siemens France supplied the following systems
for Hoang Mai Plant:
• Process Control System based on CEMAT and SIMATIC technology for the whole cement
plant, including control of crushing, raw mill, kiln, cooler, cement mill, mixing and weighting
and dispatching
• Kiln shell temperature scanner
• Laboratory and quality control system
