MV & LV Power Supply and Control System
Noi Bai International Airport built Vietnam’s
first international terminal to world standards.
Ensuring reliable, around-the-clock power supply
for the international terminal through the
35/0,4kV substation was a major part of this
important project.

The Industrial Solution & Services (I&S) Division, cooperating with Siemens Thailand, has been awarded the contract for design, equipment supply and commissioning of the following systems for the substation:
• 35kV GIS switchgear with electric-mechanical interlocking for two power supply sources
• Low voltage switchboards 4000A
• Remote control and measuring panels
• SENTRON low voltage bus duct 2000 A and 4000 A, nearly 1,000m

• Medium voltage switchgear with modern, hermetically gas isolated switchgear technology
• Maintenance-free switchgear, climate independent (humidity, dust and chemical materials)
• Large switching times at rated normal current, which guarantees reliable operation
combined with low energy consumption |
