Siemens handed over the power supply system to the Truong An school.

        

On Tuesday, 20th November 2007, Siemens contractor in the construction of power plant in Gas-Power-Fertilizer IP, organized the handover and putting into operation the power supply system to Truong An school at Hamlet 3 - Khanh An commune - U Minh district. The ceremony was attended by the local authority, teachers and students.

Total cost of the system is 105 million VND, including one ceiling fan and two lights for each classroom. At the ceremony, Mr. Michael Dusek - Head of Siemens project office in Vietnam – expressed the hope that the system would create more convenient conditions in teaching. The school and local authority acknowledged the love of Siemens for the local people, particularly to the local education cause, which inherently has much difficulty, and to solve the urgent demand for power in the remote and distant area of the U Minh district.

   In addition, Siemens employees at Site office also awarded 135 gifts
   to children of Truong An school, each gift has five notebook and one
   white shirt valued at 50,000 VND.
