- Caring Hands
Dear Colleagues,
As you all are aware of the current floods in central Vietnam that have claimed 35 lives, injured 28, left 6 missing, submerged 400,000 houses and damaged 2,500 ha of crops. The rising water levels have left hundreds of thousands homeless, remote regions holding on by a thread, traffic systems and education as well as health facilities in disarray.
As if that wasn't enough, the central region was hit by torrential heavy rains followed by another flood last weekend. This is the 5th flood in the central provinces this month.
To be a good citizen at Vietnam and in response to the Siemens' Caring Hands program, we would like to call for your voluntary contributions to the victims.
It would be highly appreciated your donation of cash before Thursday, November 22, to the receptionists at our offices in Hanoi and HCMC and factory in Binh Duong.
Please be informed that SLV will contribute the same amount additionally to the sum, that all of you have donated.
Result of the donation activity will be reported to you. And we will manage to transfer to THE RED CROSS VIETNAM in the fast manner.
